Located just minutes from Downtown (6110 Asheville Hwy. Knoxville), the River Breeze site first opened to the public in 1950, operating as the city’s beloved Drive-In Movie Theater for over 30 years before shuttering its doors in 1980. Today, the 7+ acre property stretching along the Holston River has been re-imagined as a state-of-the art outdoor venue.
Born from and fostered by Knoxville natives and business owners, in collaboration with regional and national live event specialists, River Breeze’s ethos is to host exceptional event experiences that seamlessly blend Knoxville, Tennessee’s unique local heritage and hospitality with world-class appeal.
